Melexis, the Belgian semiconductor and sensor manufacturer, faced misaligned marketing communications that no longer reflected its historic achievements or growth ambitions as it expanded into new markets. To reimagine its corporate online presence the company partnered with agency The Reference and chose Sitecore (Sitecore 8.1) as the technology platform to underpin a data-driven redesign focused on key personas such as research engineers.

The Reference implemented a new Sitecore-based website (Sitecore 8.1 on Microsoft Azure), reorganizing product taxonomy, information architecture and KPIs while enabling future personalization. Using Sitecore, Melexis launched on schedule in 12 months and achieved measurable results: sales-related inquiries rose 10%, site authority nearly doubled, recruitment improved, costs were reduced, and a refreshed corporate identity and brand house were delivered.
