Sitecore underpins new B2B2C strategy with a single digital platform for web, mobile, and IoT services

Leister, the Swiss manufacturer of plastic welding and process-heat products, needed to shift from a traditional B2B model to B2B2C to connect directly with end users via a new myLeister app and improved commerce. To centralize digital assets, improve end-customer engagement and support mobile and IoT services, Leister engaged Sitecore to upgrade and consolidate its digital platform.

Sitecore delivered a headless, AI-enabled Sitecore platform (integrating XP/xDB, EXM, Headless Services, DAM and PIM) tying together Leister.com, Leister Group sites and the myLeister app to provide omnichannel content, personalization and IoT-enabled services. Within weeks Leister reported a >50% increase in operational efficiency, 40,000 visits from 170 countries in the first month, a 10% rise in quotation requests via partners, 15% faster content editing and a 36% reduction in terminated ad-driven visits (from 78% to 50%), while supporting 1,400 products with rapid rollout of new services — all enabled by Sitecore.
