SCHOTT builds multi-product, multi-industry digital marketing platform with Sitecore

SCHOTT, a 140‑year‑old specialty glass manufacturer serving industries from healthcare to aerospace, faced the challenge of marketing many highly specialized products to very different audiences and markets. To centralize governance while enabling autonomous business units to tailor content, SCHOTT selected Sitecore and deployed an integrated Sitecore Content Hub and Sitecore XP solution to rethink its digital marketing strategy and reach new and existing customers.

Sitecore rebuilt SCHOTT’s web presence—integrating Content Hub DAM with Sitecore XP (xDB, SXA, Headless Services) and moving infrastructure to Microsoft Azure—so central teams could consolidate assets and templates while business units adapted components for niche markets. The Sitecore platform powers personalization and AI analytics, supports new 3D and virtual content, and now serves 30,000 digital assets across 8 languages and 40+ countries; the streamlined site has 50% fewer pages and is projected to grow traffic from 300,000 to 500,000 monthly visitors (≈67% increase).
