Ruth’s Chris Steak House enhances upscale dining experience with digital storytelling, streamlined reservations

Ruth’s Hospitality, operator of more than 150 Ruth’s Chris Steak House locations, faced a fragmented digital presence: many franchise sites ran on different platforms with inconsistent URL structures, poor mobile/tablet optimization, and slow, agency-dependent content updates that hurt SEO and made online reservations difficult. To unify content management and boost direct bookings, Ruth’s Hospitality selected Sitecore (Sitecore Experience Platform) as its CMS.

Working with partner Huge, Ruth’s Hospitality deployed Sitecore on Microsoft Azure IaaS, integrated a reservation API and IBM Watson services, and built reusable, localized components and automated deployment workflows. The Sitecore implementation shortened content update cycles from days to hours, increased online reservations by 5%, reduced bounce rates by more than 4%, and enabled nearly 400 event landing pages with RSVP functionality—improving SEO, franchise consistency, and time-to-market under Sitecore.
