PUMA achieves winning results with new digital experience

PUMA, the global sports brand, needed a corporate site that reflected its “Brave, confident, determined, joyful” identity and lived up to its “Forever Faster” promise across corporate communications and global recruiting. The existing site was static and slow, so PUMA set out to rebuild a modular, easy-to-manage site that could deliver fast performance and tailored experiences for stakeholders including Corporate Communications, HR, Innovation, Sustainability, and Investor Relations. The new build was launched on Sitecore technology—Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) with SXA and JavaScript Services (JSS).

Using Sitecore, PUMA implemented a modular COPE-based system with optimized code, reusable modules, Experience and Content Editors, personalization, and Workday integration for careers. The Sitecore-powered relaunch drove measurable gains: 336% more backlinks, an 84% increase in visibility/SEO, a 72% reduction in page load times, 20% more applicants, greatly reduced 404 errors, lower bounce rates and longer sessions—demonstrating significant improvements in performance, engagement, and recruitment outcomes.
