People with a physical disability, volunteers and sponsors – each have their own specific needs in terms of information. The new Sitecorebased website of the non-profit organization optimally addresses each one of these groups

Nationale Vereniging de Zonnebloem, a Dutch non-profit serving people with physical disabilities, volunteers and sponsors, struggled with an outdated CMS that lacked personalization, made it hard to segment target groups and was not optimized for mobile. To modernize their site and integrate with a new CRM, they selected Sitecore (Sitecore 8) alongside a new Microsoft CRM.

Implemented with partner Gengu using SCRUM, Sitecore 8 enabled profile-driven personalization, content clean-up, SSL-secured mobile donation flows and improved site architecture; the results include pages loading 43% faster, 89% more visitors from mobile devices, 20% more visitors from organic search, clearer call-to-actions, higher conversions and better ability to handle traffic peaks. Sitecore also brought greater stability for high-traffic events like the annual lottery.
