Open Universities Australia (OUA) is a national higher-education marketplace serving more than 350,000 students with 1,400+ subjects and 175 degrees. OUA needed to personalize the student experience across the entire online education journey—from awareness to re-enrollment—but their previous CMS couldn’t support that ambition or drive the enrollment and revenue growth required, so they turned to Sitecore (Sitecore Digital Experience Platform) for a more flexible, scalable solution.

Sitecore, with implementation partner Avanade, delivered a nine‑month overhaul that integrated Sitecore with Salesforce and data-visualization tools to power personalized web and cross-channel student journeys and optimize conversions. The new Sitecore-based platform produced dramatic results: online engagement up 242%, lead capture up 249%, new student enrollment growth of 66% year‑over‑year (with a 30% increase reported in the five months after launch) and a 10% rise in undergraduate degrees.
