OKQ8 Scandinavia, one of Sweden’s largest fuel and automotive service companies, needed to boost its digital presence across the Nordics and lay the groundwork for future e-commerce. In 2015 the company sought a robust web content management and marketing platform with strong integration capabilities and selected Sitecore (implemented with partner Kraftvaerk), using the Sitecore Experience Platform along with uCommerce and the Sitecore Email Experience Manager to support omnichannel content and customer engagement.

Kraftvaerk implemented Sitecore to enrich and centrally manage product content—over 1,500 products were documented and enhanced, 12 customer personas were created using Sitecore and Google Analytics data, and content was reused across apps and in‑store kiosks. The Sitecore solution delivered measurable gains: organic traffic rose more than 5%, product pages drove 9.8% of traffic on OKQ8.se (10.7% on Q8.dk), achieved page‑one SEO results for key categories, ensured 100% omnichannel content accuracy, and increased conversions and average basket size.
