New England BioLabs, a leading supplier of restriction enzymes and genomic-research products, faced a scaling crisis: a proprietary CMS could not handle its 1,500+ product catalog, rising traffic, or marketing needs, and manual updates risked content inconsistency. To modernize its digital channel and support e-commerce, NEB engaged Sitecore (with partner Connective DX) to replatform onto the Sitecore Experience Platform and rethink content, data and customer experience.

Sitecore helped implement a new content model and single source of product truth, a custom product-management interface, and integrations with e-commerce, search and analytics to dynamically assemble content across touchpoints. The result: a 29% increase in engagement, pages per visit up >13%, visitors spending 29% longer, search-related visit time up 74% and search exits down ~86%; time to add forms/videos dropped 50% and content modifications are now four times faster—delivering a scalable foundation for future growth with Sitecore.
