New digital platform improves global service and reduces time to market by 50%

Festool, a 90‑plus‑year manufacturer of premium power tools, needed a way to build direct customer relationships and deliver personalized, lifecycle‑long digital experiences despite a decentralized dealer network and regulatory complexity across ~30 countries. To achieve this, Festool selected the Sitecore Experience Platform to modernize search, product presentation and customer engagement across devices.

With Sitecore as the experience hub (implemented by digital agency netzkern), Festool launched a responsive site that imports PIM product data and assets into Sitecore, integrates MS Azure CDN, and exposes the MyFestool portal for device registration, extended warranties and online services. The Sitecore solution enabled a centralized admin, reusable components, streamlined translation and configurable country‑specific forms, resulting in a 50% reduction in time‑to‑market and an eight‑week rollout of the first 26 countries, plus faster content creation and product update processes.
