Case Study: Microsoft Corporation achieves lightning-fast, personalized partner experiences with Sitecore

A Sitecore Case Study

Preview of the Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Microsoft’s business relies on its partners, and its partner website relies on Sitecore

Microsoft Corporation’s massive partner ecosystem—responsible for roughly $8.70 in partner-sourced revenue per direct sale—needed a modern, scalable partner portal to deliver timely, localized product, pricing, and training information across 69 regions and 19 languages. To replace an outdated MPN site and enable faster publishing and personalization, Microsoft (with Avanade) selected the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) and Sitecore Federated Experience Manager (FXM) on Azure.

Using Sitecore, Microsoft implemented reusable component “legos,” FXM-based header/footer federation, responsive templates, and a global publishing model that put content owners in control. Sitecore enabled geo- and behavior-driven personalization, self-service publishing, built-in reporting and tagging, accelerated authoring and localization, and page-load times under 0.5 seconds—delivering faster access, brand consistency, and measurable improvements for partners worldwide.
