Macmillan Cancer Support needed to modernize its digital experience, move vital cancer information and support online, and respond quickly to the impact of COVID-19 on NHS services. The charity also faced outdated technology, poor mobile journeys, and a difficult-to-manage website, while trying to recreate the value of face-to-face support through a digital experience using Sitecore Experience Platform.

Sitecore implemented Sitecore XP 9.3 along with xDB, SXA, Managed Cloud, xProfile, and Sitecore Cortex to create a more personalized, easier-to-use site. The new experience improved findability and navigation, cut production time by half, and launched a COVID-19 information hub rapidly, with engagement rising significantly: page time up 30%, content consumption up 218%, and click-to-call/chat actions up by more than 100%.
