LeasePlan Bank, an online-only retail bank serving over 200,000 customers, faced the need for a secure, reliable and flexible digital customer platform to ensure continuous uptime and a seamless customer journey. To replace an inflexible legacy system, LeasePlan Bank renewed its websites and customer portal using Sitecore (Sitecore XP 9.1), with implementation support from partner Iquality, and began integrating a new banking platform and CRM while moving parts of the stack to Microsoft Azure.

Sitecore delivered a combined solution—Sitecore XP 9.1 integrated with Microsoft Azure and Ohpen—that enabled faster time-to-market, guaranteed uptime, improved load times and greater personalization. As a result, LeasePlan Bank saw a 43% increase in savings-account requests in the Netherlands (252% in Germany), 20% more site traffic and 26% longer average visit duration, alongside a more flexible, future-proof platform powered by Sitecore.
