KPT, one of Switzerland’s 10 largest health insurers serving 430,000 customers, faced a complex customer journey for selecting and buying insurance products. To simplify product comparison, pricing and purchase across web and mobile, KPT chose Sitecore—using the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP 9), xDB/xConnect and Email Experience Manager—to provide a flexible, personalized platform that could embed a premium calculator and adapt business rules without heavy development.
Working with Sitecore (and implementation partner Unic), KPT integrated its website and premium calculator, added personalization, path analytics and email capabilities so customers can switch between guided and self-service flows, save items to baskets and complete transactions online. The Sitecore solution produced a 20% increase in quote requests and online transactions, reduced customer-service calls, and helped KPT achieve the No. 1 customer satisfaction ranking, while improving internal agility and time-to-market.
