Jenoptik, a global photonics group present in over 80 countries, engaged Sitecore to redevelop both its corporate website and intranet using the Sitecore Experience Platform and Sitecore Marketing Suite. The company needed a user‑focused presentation of an extensive product portfolio and easier product discovery on the public site, while its intranet required content rationalization, higher employee adoption and lower editorial maintenance effort.

Sitecore delivered a single-platform solution with a central product pool of more than 500 products, reusable content blocks, personalization, easy third‑party integration and a simplified backend used by about 25 editors. The implementation (including Web Forms for Marketers, a two‑language rollout and filter-driven intranet views) produced target‑group specific presentation, faster content reuse, improved findability and streamlined editorial workflows—resulting in higher intranet usability and reduced effort to maintain content thanks to the Sitecore platform.
