A Sitecore Case Study
Brooklyn Law School faced a dated, hard-to-manage website that didn’t reflect the school’s strengths and needed to integrate data from multiple back-end systems (Microsoft SharePoint, Colleague, MySQL and third‑party video hosting). To address poor navigation, redundant content, and difficult editorial workflows, Brooklyn Law School selected Sitecore (implemented by partner Weymouth Design) and the Sitecore CMS to rebuild the site from the ground up.
Weymouth Design reorganized the site architecture and implemented Sitecore with custom .NET integrations to pull faculty, course, alumni and media content from SharePoint, Colleague and MySQL, and to manage streaming video and photo galleries. The Sitecore solution made content easier to update, centralized media management, and led to increased admissions applications and higher engagement with the Housing and Virtual Tour sections—clear improvements in recruitment effectiveness and editorial efficiency driven by Sitecore.
