In just over eight weeks from project start, eQ was geared up to serve its customers with new online services

eQ Asset Management, which serves more than 11,000 clients and offers 23 in-house mutual funds plus partner funds, faced an urgent challenge after its former parent bank merged with NordNet and internal IT and business support were withdrawn. Needing to rebuild core IT infrastructure and customer-facing online services in under three months while preserving a sophisticated self-service web channel, eQ engaged Sitecore (with implementation partner atBusiness) and chose the Sitecore CMS to meet tight deadlines and integration requirements.

Sitecore, together with atBusiness, implemented a Sitecore CMS–based public website with strong authentication, transactional self-service (mutual fund subscriptions/redemptions), and backend integrations for market data, portfolio data and reporting (built on Microsoft .NET and web services). The solution was delivered in just over eight weeks, allowing eQ to continue serving its customers seamlessly, receive substantial positive customer feedback, and improve its market position while enabling future plans to shift more reporting and communication online.
