Improving internal workflows and communication with Sitecore Intranet

Anti Doping Danmark, a nationwide organization of geographically dispersed doping controllers, faced fragmented information across multiple platforms and time‑consuming manual workflows (Excel, email, phone and letters) that hindered administration, communication and knowledge sharing. To address this, they engaged Sitecore (with Sitecore Solution Partner Oxygen Software) and adopted the Sitecore intranet starter kit to build a mobile‑optimized intranet tailored to field users.

Oxygen Software extended the Sitecore platform with two‑factor SMS login, responsive design, intelligent search, a social stream, project rooms and a dedicated “Control Module” that issues email/SMS offers, auto‑adds accepted controls to personal calendars, and captures results, time and mileage for automatic reporting. The Sitecore intranet produced a single information platform that streamlined administration of controls, improved communication and knowledge sharing, and enabled managers to generate monthly reports and monitor ongoing cases in real time.
