Rabobank, a banking group serving Australia and New Zealand (including its direct brand RaboDirect), needed to deliver a highly personalised, “high touch” online experience for disparate customer segments, consolidate numerous legacy sites into three unified sites, and migrate to a secure, scalable cloud environment. To meet these challenges they selected Sitecore 7.5 (hosted on AWS) to enable personalization, A/B testing and faster content publishing.
Using the Sitecore platform and AWS hosting, Rabobank implemented customer personas, responsive shared templates and A/B testing to consolidate sites and automate continuous optimisation. The Sitecore-driven rollout cut bounce rates by 42% on RaboDirect, 60% on Rabobank Australia and 68% on Rabobank New Zealand, improved dwell times by 19%, 30% and 128% respectively, and lifted RaboDirect conversions by 14%, while enabling faster, ongoing personalization and site improvements.
