How Ferrier Hodgson Turned its Website into an Effective PR Tool

Ferrier Hodgson, an Australian corporate advisory and accountancy group, needed to transform a patched, inflexible website into a dynamic PR and thought‑leadership platform to support a rebrand and multi‑channel content strategy. They required easy content publishing, integration with email and social channels, geo‑targeting and future multilingual capability, and selected the Sitecore CMS (with its Digital Marketing System) to deliver the required functionality and scalability.

Working with agency IE, Ferrier Hodgson launched a new responsive website built on Sitecore that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics, LinkedIn, Twitter and delivers geographic personalization. Since launch Sitecore‑driven improvements include mobile traffic more than doubling to over 20%, pages per visit up 15%, average visit duration rising from 1:50 to 2:36 (about a 10% lift), a 50% reduction in content publishing time, a rise in new visitors (to ~72%), and faster, more efficient multi‑channel PR and subscriber management.
