Homefashion Group blends content and commerce to boost customer engagement

Homefashion Group, one of the Netherlands’ largest suppliers of flooring, wallpaper, window treatments, lighting, and furniture (formerly operating as Kwantum), needed to reposition its flagship brand from a discount seller to a leader in modern, inspiring home furnishings. Its existing website was a basic product catalog with no original content, social integration, or personalization, so Homefashion Group partnered with Aviva Solutions and selected Sitecore® Experience Platform™ (XP) and Sitecore Commerce together with Aviva’s Mercury e‑commerce accelerator to build a content‑driven, personalized digital experience.

Using Sitecore Experience Platform and Sitecore Commerce as the foundation, the team implemented persona‑driven content, user‑generated content wrapped around products, integrated social and loyalty features, and personalized customer journeys across channels. The Sitecore‑based solution produced measurable impact: a 25% increase in online and offline visitors, a 25% increase in user engagement, significant revenue growth, lower IT costs from platform integration, faster time to market, and a standout cross‑channel customer experience.
