Growing bank extends relational focus into digital marketing

CWB Financial Group, a Canadian business bank, needed to move its relationship-driven service into the digital channel: its 12-year-old, brochure-style website lacked interactivity and mobile optimization and had grown into multiple disparate sites after acquisitions. To address this, CWB worked with Sitecore and adopted the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP 9.1) and related services to create a unified, customer-centric web presence.

Sitecore upgraded and consolidated CWB’s sites onto XP 9.1 with xDB and xConnect, enabling customer-focused journeys, mobile optimization, interactive financial calculators, and centralized analytics and personalization. The Sitecore solution unified 10 websites on one platform and delivered measurable gains — a 35% increase in unique views and a 262% year‑over‑year rise in mobile traffic — while paving the way for Sitecore EXM-driven personalized communications and streamlined online account applications.
