Globus, a nearly century-old travel and hospitality group operating multiple brands across the Asia‑Pacific region, faced an outdated digital presence that wasn’t mobile- or SEO‑friendly, lacked destination content and decision support, and was hard to navigate—hindering direct bookings and slowing time to market. To address this, Globus engaged Sitecore (working with partner Empired) and upgraded its platform to Sitecore Experience Platform (XP 8.2) with Sitecore Experience Database (xDB) and Sitecore Connector to modernize its customer-facing sites and back-end integrations.
Using Sitecore, Globus implemented end-to-end integrations (ERP, CRM, booking, payment, social), built Nurture Paths for three distinct customer journeys, and applied personalization and indexing for faster performance and easier regionalization. The Sitecore solution drove measurable impact: 25% faster page loads, a 529% rise in sales lead calls, a 320% increase in online bookings, organic search traffic up 30%, overall conversions +85%, and PPC traffic and goal conversions up 20% and 140% respectively.
