Digital upgrade drives up membership and engagement at HIA

The Housing Industry Association (HIA) needed to modernize its website and digital services to deliver a more intuitive experience, support 18 lines of business, and create a clearer path from awareness to membership. With much of its content locked behind membership and no unified customer journey, HIA turned to Sitecore and its XP platform to build a central digital experience that could better serve members, non-members, and anonymous visitors.

Sitecore, working with implementation partner Switch, helped HIA launch a centralized, personalized digital platform with e-commerce, marketing automation, geolocation, and a tiered content model. The results were strong: HIA saw a 10% rise in membership sign-ups, a 40% increase in customer goal completions, an 800% increase in upselling and cross-selling opportunities, a 370% increase in new business and upsell leads, and a 10% drop in customer service calls.
