DESTIL realizes an increase in sales of 10 percent with the new Sitecore platform

Destil, a Netherlands-based construction and industry wholesaler, faced a dated 2012 website that was not mobile-friendly and offered limited data analysis and personalization—hindering online orders and targeted offers as customers shifted to mobile. To accelerate online growth and improve customer experiences, Destil selected Sitecore (Sitecore Experience Platform 8.2 and Sitecore Experience Database) and engaged Sitecore partner Estate to rebuild its platform.

Estate implemented a responsive, personalized Sitecore-based solution (XP 8.2 and xDB) integrating Solr search, MongoDB, Perfion PIM, Microsoft Dynamics AX, IcePay and real-time branch stock/checkout features to enable order splitting, improved search and tailored experiences for prospects vs. customers. The Sitecore platform drove measurable results shortly after launch: sales up 10%, sessions +50%, transactions +15%, new users +65% and mobile use +89%.
