Designed exclusively for specialty health care professionals, Healio.com uses Sitecore® to manage and disseminate news, information, and education opportunities across web, social, and mobile channels

Healio, part of The Wyanoke Group, faced an unsustainable tangle of 35 separate websites that consumed IT resources and fragmented the experience for physicians and other specialty health professionals. To create a “single lens” for news, education, commerce and mobile consumption and to gain a 360-degree view of subscribers, Healio implemented a Sitecore-based platform (Sitecore Experience Platform 8.0) with support from implementation partner Arke.

Using Sitecore (Experience Platform 8.0) plus integrations with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sitecore Commerce Connect and Brightcove, the vendor consolidated all content into a single CMS, enabled personalized content delivery, integrated commerce for conference and education purchases, and streamlined mobile app production. The Sitecore solution delivered measurable results: a single-source destination with integrated CRM insights, about three million page views per month, direct on-site purchases for events and courses, and a foundation for expanded content types and deeper personalization.
