DAF Trucks N.V., the premier commercial vehicle manufacturer in Europe, needed to improve user experience and streamline access to content spread across 19 websites in 27 languages and 137 domains, while supporting around 300,000 visitors per month, simplifying complex content editing and eliminating duplicate content. To address these challenges the company engaged Sitecore, using the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) and Sitecore Experience Cloud (with Sitecore Connect and Helix-compliant architecture) to centralize and modernize their digital estate.

Sitecore delivered a cloud-hosted solution on Microsoft Azure PaaS with Experience Editor support for all components and integration with a 3rd-party 3D Online Truck Configurator; the implementation enabled clearer web navigation and storytelling, increased content-editing efficiency, and improved reliability and performance through automated testing. The Sitecore-powered platform is now scalable and flexible for future growth, has driven more traffic and better lead generation, and meets the organization’s needs across its multi-site, multi-language footprint.
