CUPS launches B2B eMarketplace connecting coffee shops to suppliers

CUPS is a Brooklyn-based technology company that supports hundreds of independent specialty coffee shops with tools, services, and group purchasing power. Facing the problem that small, independent shops couldn’t procure goods at fair market rates like large chains, CUPS partnered with Sitecore to build a B2B ecommerce marketplace using Sitecore OrderCloud to aggregate suppliers and streamline purchasing.

Sitecore delivered the CUPS Supply Store — a one-stop B2B marketplace that lets shops buy by category or supplier, place single orders across multiple suppliers, and lets admins set supplier-specific rules. Built in three months, the Sitecore-powered marketplace drove over 800% sales growth in the first eight months and grew the number of coffee shops placing orders each month by more than 280%.
