A Sitecore Case Study
St Peters Lutheran College, the largest independent school in Queensland with campuses at Indooroopilly and Springfield, needed to combine eight separate public and community portals into a single integrated web presence that serves prospective parents while delivering secure, role-based content to students, staff and current parents. The College required a CMS that could integrate with Active Directory, handle third‑party systems like its Synergetic administration software, support audience targeting and permissions, and be easy enough for multiple nontechnical editors — a solution supplied by Sitecore using the Sitecore CMS.
Sitecore implemented a single CMS platform enabling multiple sites and secure portals with Active Directory integration, audience targeting, content sharing across public and private areas, and third‑party integrations (Synergetic, Facebook, document management). The consolidated site delivered measurable results: last month the public site saw 13,529 unique visitors, the secure portal 35,031 unique visitors and 260,321 page views, low bounce rates, significant staff time savings, and 95% satisfaction among Year 12 parents; Sitecore has also supported new features like Marketplace, a New Parents area and Council/Foundation portals.
