City of Ulm needed a single, reliable point of access for citizens to find up-to-date regulatory, cultural, and service information after an earlier project with another supplier had failed. The city also had to manage content from 100 editors across many content types and sources, and turned to Sitecore to help centralize the experience.

Using Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), Sitecore Experience Manager (XM), xDB, and EXM, City of Ulm integrated multiple web resources and external data sources into one website. With Sitecore, the city improved accessibility for disabled users, sped up content management, improved load times, reduced outages, and centralized 28 domains and 10 external data sources for 150K citizens.
