Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest integrated telecommunications provider, faced a failing, manual CMS that couldn’t integrate product, pricing and customer-data systems or support personalization, A/B testing, marketing automation and rapid content rollout. To modernize its digital presence and e‑shop, Chunghwa Telecom selected Sitecore and its Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) to replace the outdated platform.
Sitecore, implemented with partner ESi, integrated product, rate, e‑commerce and big‑data systems into a centralized platform that enables real‑time personalization, marketing automation and analytics. The new Sitecore solution doubled e‑shop traffic on day one, supports up to 3x more visitors during promotions, cut content-creation and approval from 2–3 days to 1 day (≥50% faster rollout), and improved conversion, repeat visits and operational efficiency through centralized content management and real‑time engagement reports.
