Canadian Nurses Association offers personalized experience

The Canadian Nurses Associataion, the national professional voice for Canadian nursing representing 139,000 RNs and preparing to expand membership to LPNs/RPNs, faced rising service demand and the complexity of running three websites on different platforms. To streamline membership, certification and personalization, they chose Sitecore and deployed the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) with xDB, EXM and the Data Exchange Framework to enable single sign-on, unified data and personalized member experiences.

Using Sitecore, the organization consolidated three sites into one integrated portal (linked to Microsoft Dynamics, Coveo, UCommerce and payment/tax systems), automated membership and certification workflows, and built personalized member interfaces. The Sitecore implementation cut related IT technologies and support costs by more than 50%, reduced service center calls and emails by 65%, and drove a 30% increase in nurses joining while applying for certifications.
