Dansk Boldspil Union (the Danish Football Association) needed to replace an outdated CMS, build an online community, deliver targeted and organized content, and merge seven separate local union sites into a single, user-friendly destination. Working with Netcompany, they evaluated options and chose Sitecore — deploying Sitecore CMS along with the Sitecore Online Marketing Suite and Web Forms for Marketers — to underpin a three-year digital strategy and a launch timed before the World Cup.

Netcompany implemented Sitecore to deliver a sub-site multisite model, flexible template-based modules for non-technical editors, integration templates to reuse legacy systems (including FODA) with Enterprise SSO, Web Forms for Marketers, newsletter functionality, and social integrations with 23Video and Facebook. The new Sitecore-powered site successfully consolidated seven sites into one, improved brand presentation and engagement, enabled content reusability and simpler editorial workflows, simplified account administration, and generated massive exposure during the World Cup campaign.
