Transavia, the budget airline, faced an eight-year-old website that made content updates and new feature development slow and complex, slowing its broader digital transformation. To modernize the site, Transavia chose Sitecore (Sitecore 8.1) combined with Microsoft Azure IaaS, with digital experience agency Mirabeau as the implementation partner.

Sitecore delivered a cloud-ready platform that separates content from code, supports campaign-based personalization, and lets content be reused across channels. Deployed on Azure IaaS, the Sitecore solution provides scalable performance for seasonal peaks (e.g., January and October), faster time to market for new features, and lower hosting/licensing costs—creating a flexible foundation for cloud-native development and enabling new interfaces like chatbots and voice to improve conversion.
