Blue Chip launches new Sitecore-based engagement platform with the customer journey in mind

Blue Chip, a Dorset-based IT services company, needed a modern engagement platform to build relationships with prospects and customers and replace a website that couldn’t deliver targeted, timely interactions. To address this, Blue Chip engaged Sitecore technology and the Sitecore partner Appius to create a marketing-focused site that could serve distinct audiences (Business Exec and IT Professional) and capture lead data for the sales team.

Appius designed and built the Sitecore 8.1–based platform in about six months, implementing Experience Editor, Experience Manager & Personalization, Email Experience Manager, plus integrations with Dynamics CRM, LivePerson and Lead Forensics, gated downloads, event booking and callback functionality. The Appius-built solution drove a 30% increase in traffic, tripled web-generated leads, improved sales insight through visitor tracking, and allowed marketing to update targeted content on the fly.
