Beijer Electronics uses Sitecore® to drive the integration of critical product information across a large global organization and present a cohesive digital experience to customers worldwide

Beijer Electronics AB, an industrial automation and data communications company with a history of growth through acquisition, faced a fragmented IT landscape of 20 websites, multiple ERP systems, and a legacy IBM Lotus Notes/Domino CMS. To modernize and consolidate its infrastructure and enable personalized experiences across 18 countries, Beijer selected Sitecore and implemented the Sitecore Experience Platform 8.0 as the foundation for content, integration, and experience management.

Working with Sitecore (and partner Kodexe), Beijer integrated Sitecore with IFS ERP, InRiver PIM (via a Sitecore Adapter), and Microsoft SharePoint to centralize product information and automate web content. The Sitecore solution consolidated more than a half-dozen ERP instances, enabled single sign-on across sites, launched the first new website in October 2015, and made the platform personalization-ready for a planned migration to Sitecore 8.1 — improving lead tracking, streamlining product updates, and setting the stage to reduce global sites from 20 toward 10 (and ultimately three).
