Ascension Health, the world's largest Catholic health system, needed to improve employee connections and give patients more intuitive tools through a scalable, flexible digital platform while migrating large volumes of content and creating targeted experiences. To meet those challenges Ascension partnered with Sitecore, deploying Sitecore Experience Platform (XP 9.1) and Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) as the foundation for the new solution.

Using Sitecore, Ascension built a consistent, scalable web platform with integrations such as Azure PaaS, React, Reputation.com and InQuicker, migrating 5,500 pages across 600 sites in seven geolocations. The Sitecore implementation reimplemented and optimized the “Find a Doctor” and appointment scheduling tools, launched “Physician Connect,” delivered targeted experiences like Mandorla for employee well‑being, and provided timely public information during COVID-19, driving greater consistency and improved patient and employee engagement.
