Aruba Bank wanted to modernize and using Sitecore it created a new website and an online customer portal to support its offline service provision

Aruba Bank, the largest bank in Aruba, sought to modernize an outdated internet-banking environment and digitize paper-based processes while preserving its emphasis on in-person service. To achieve this it partnered with Virtual Affairs and adopted Sitecore (CMS module/Sitecore 8) as the foundation for a new website and online customer portal, using the BankingRight solution built on Sitecore and integrating with mid-office and core banking systems.

Virtual Affairs implemented the Sitecore-based solution, linked Five Degrees’ mid-office system and the Bankmate core, and refreshed mobile apps for iOS and Android to connect online and offline channels. As a result—according to Aruba Bank—Sitecore now delivers more insight into website visitor behavior, greater flexibility and ease of support, faster, more efficient customer processes (e.g., online initiation with in-branch confirmation), and a planned roll-out to the sister bank.
