Achmea Pension & Life division grows digital business with Sitecore

Achmea, the Netherlands’ largest insurance company, wanted to improve online customer engagement for its Pension & Life division by adding personalization, automation, and self-service to its digital pension management experience. Working with Sitecore and implementation partner HCLTech, Achmea used Sitecore XP to replace manual paperwork and create a more unified experience for policyholders and pensioners.

Sitecore helped Achmea build a scalable, headless digital platform with Sitecore XP 10.3, Sitecore JSS, and Microsoft Azure, integrated with external systems like IRIS and DigiD. The result was stronger digital engagement, a more efficient content management process, and significant business growth, including more new site visits, longer time on site, more returning visitors, and increased pension-related product sales.
