Case Study: USA Swimming achieves faster, scalable self-serve analytics with Sisense

A Sisense Case Study

Preview of the USA Swimming Case Study

USA Swimming dives into data to empower future Olympians

USA Swimming, the national governing body for competitive swimming, needed a better way to segment and visualize its massive database of swim times for nearly 400,000 members. Its data was largely static and hard to access, making it difficult for coaches, swimmers, parents, and clubs to get timely, comparative insights from reports and dashboards.

Sisense implemented embedded self-serve dashboards, a high-performance analytics database, dynamic web access tokens, and Compose SDK to make USA Swimming’s analytics scalable, mobile-friendly, and interactive. With Sisense, report updates dropped from six to eight weeks to about two days, and the data team now delivers meaningful analytics about 3x faster on the public site.
