A Sisense Case Study
Res Consortium is a UK management consultancy that helps healthcare providers improve performance by turning large, complex NHS datasets into intuitive analytics. The NHS’s performance data was previously siloed in lengthy, static PDF reports that made cross-organization comparison and root-cause analysis slow and difficult, so Res Consortium set out to replace heavy reports with interactive dashboards that reveal the “why” behind performance.
By embedding Sisense, Res Consortium consolidated disparate datasets, anonymized patient records on a non-public server, and built shareable, drillable dashboards and maps that stakeholders can explore independently. The change cut report production dramatically (to roughly one-tenth of the prior effort), improved engagement and decision-making (used by NHS trusts and pharmaceutical clients), enabled new commercial insights (including a Parkinson’s prescribing/hospitalization study now being published) and gave Res Consortium analytics they can track and monetize.
