Online Gaming Platform Sees 23x Improvement in Report Processing Time

Casumo, a five-year-old online casino platform processing millions of customer transactions per day, faced slow, static, manual reporting that left employees dependent on the data team and without clear access to departmental KPIs. The company needed a single source of truth to integrate marketing, accounting, financial and agency data and to enable non-technical staff to build and drill into reports.

By deploying Sisense (connecting to Amazon Redshift and using the Elasticube), Casumo implemented an end-to-end ETL and self-service BI solution; with about one hour of user training, employees began building dashboards independently. The change delivered a 23x improvement in report processing time—reducing reporting and data-prep from 23 hours to 1 hour and transactional data processing from 230 hours to 1 hour—eliminating performance bottlenecks and enabling faster, data-driven decisions.
