Fiverr Turns to Sisense to Get the Fastest Refresh Rates

Fiverr, a global online marketplace for services with about 170 employees and millions of listings, needed faster, real-time insight into user behavior as data volumes grew to millions of rows per day from MySQL, Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Analytics and internal Hadoop sources. Existing BI tooling was slow, required a dedicated developer to build reports, and couldn’t easily join disparate sources or support many concurrent queries, slowing product and business decisions.

By deploying Sisense and its ElastiCube technology, Fiverr joined multiple large data sources into interactive dashboards that refresh in seconds, handle dozens of concurrent queries, and run tens of millions of rows on commodity servers. The two‑server deployment with five cubes supports ~20 queries per dashboard, enables company‑wide, self‑service reporting, reduced maintenance, and put data-driven scorecards on TVs across departments—allowing product, marketing and management to move faster and make decisions based on real‑time user behavior.
