The New York Civic Engagement Table (NYCET) is a coalition of 60+ nonprofits across the state that supports voter registration, mobilization and issue advocacy for marginalized communities. Members historically lacked shared data infrastructure and struggled with confusing overlapping political geographies, ad‑hoc analysis requests, and the need for real‑time insights to plan, execute and report programs effectively.

NYCET built a central data repository and interactive dashboards using Sisense for Cloud Data Teams, giving partners self‑service access to unified metrics, district drill‑downs, real‑time field data and an experiments dashboard. The platform cut down on custom reporting, reduced bias in decision‑making, improved targeting and accountability, and even helped visualize impact at a fundraiser that led to a $12,000 donation and expanded Get Out The Vote efforts.
