Crowd Media, founded in 2009, is a global mobile entertainment and micro‑job company that crowdsources expert answers to customers worldwide. CTO Ian Clark struggled with messy Excel spreadsheets and disparate data from Redshift, MySQL and various APIs (Facebook Ads, App Annie), which made daily filtering, standardized reporting and identification of top-performing experts and ads slow and error‑prone—an initial BI tool also failed to meet their needs.
