Casting Networks, a technology provider for the entertainment casting industry handling more than 160,000 projects a year, was collecting over a billion rows of data from dozens of sources (Google Drive, multiple QuickBooks files and 35 SQL databases) but had no easy way to view or analyze it. Reporting required one-off queries run by IT, was slow and error-prone, and left sales and business development teams tracking KPIs manually—so CEO Glen Ward tasked Senior Business Analyst Nitika Singh with finding a BI solution.
