CTSI, the world’s largest privately held freight audit and payment services provider, processes 2–4 million freight invoices daily and needed a way to turn that volume of transactional data into actionable insights. Their challenge was to give customers a visual, day‑to‑day view of shipping and billing trends and to drive regular adoption among both customers and internal services personnel so the analytics would actually be used.

After evaluating vendors they chose Sisense for its ease of implementation and ability to embed in CTSI’s TMS. Sisense enabled embedded, customizable dashboards with real‑time and historical invoice views, a pilot that identified the most valuable metrics, and a simple “lightbulb” adoption cue that increased internal logins. The result was clearer visibility into vendor and customer trends, the ability to track hourly billing progress, stronger user engagement and behavior change, and an expected ROI within the first year.
