alpharooms.com is a leading UK and Ireland discount travel site serving about one million customers with access to rooms in over 250,000 hotels across 40,000 destinations. The analytics team needed easy-to-use, interactive dashboards and drill-down reports for web behaviour, email marketing, booking patterns and financials that business users could run without IT or external consultants; their Excel/OLAP approach and heavyweight BI suites were slow, costly and required too much IT involvement.

They implemented Sisense to build interactive dashboards and run multiple ElastiCube datastores (tens of millions of rows) on a single standard PC, delivering fast, self-service reporting across bookings, website usage, marketing campaigns, purchasing and call-centre performance.
