Van de Lande BV, a manufacturer of PVC-U and PE pressure fittings and valves, needed a more reliable disaster recovery strategy after moving from a mixed virtual environment to Windows Hyper-V and local SSD storage. To protect its ERP database and other critical systems from site-wide outages, the company turned to SIOS Technology and SIOS DataKeeper Cluster Edition for continuous availability and data replication.
SIOS Technology implemented a two-node Windows Server Failover Cluster with SIOS DataKeeper Cluster Edition, creating a SANless cluster that mirrored data between servers and enabled automatic failover without data loss. The solution was installed in less than a day and successfully passed failover testing, giving Van de Lande a comprehensive HA/DR environment for file, print, SQL, web, label, and iSCSI services while avoiding the cost and complexity of shared SAN storage.
