A Sinterit Case Study
Jetson One, a company developing a personal electric aircraft, faced the challenge of manufacturing extremely lightweight components for its vehicle. To save weight and bypass the long, expensive process of traditional prototyping with molds, they turned to Sinterit and its selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printing technology.
Sinterit provided Jetson One with its Lisa X SLS 3D printer. This solution allowed the customer to rapidly prototype and produce final parts with strong, lightweight lattice structures. The measurable results included a print volume large enough for their needs and a print speed ten times faster than their previous model. Sinterit's open-source materials and excellent customer support further enabled Jetson to efficiently create jigs, brackets, and other components, significantly accelerating their development process.
